Tell us a little about yourself:

I am licensed non-denominational minister who has been performing wedding ceremonies since June of 2000. I have worked with more than 1,000 couples to create beautiful and meaningful wedding ceremonies. My background as a legal secretary ensures my attention to detail, especially the proper signing and filing of the Marriage License. And as a former Toastmaster, I am a skilled and articulate speaker; in fact, I am often complimented on the quality of my voice!

What services do you offer?

Along with performing wedding ceremonies, I also offer baby blessings, and I occasionally conduct funerals and celebrations of life.

Who is your ideal client?

I love working with couples who want their ceremony to be an important and memorable part of their wedding celebration. They truly want their ceremony to reflect their love and commitment to each other.

In 2018 I was voted KCRA A-List’s Best Wedding Officiant in Sacramento, and am a frequent winner of Style Magazine’s annual Readers’ Choice Award as Favorite Wedding Officiant.

What is one thing every client needs to know about what sets you apart from other officiants?

After personally meeting with couples to discuss their ceremony wishes, I create a custom wedding ceremony that reflects their vision for their long and happy marriage. And, of course, they review and approve the ceremony ahead of time – no unpleasant surprises on their wedding day!

Jeri’s Tips & Tricks for a great wedding day:

Along with the important tips of staying hydrated, remembering to eat during the day, and “don’t lock your knees during the ceremony,” I think the most important Tip is to periodically take time to stop, take a breath and savor the moment. Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and you should be able to enjoy it fully! Hiring great wedding professionals makes it so much easier to enjoy your wedding – so that’s important Tip #2!
