Meet Lauren!

My name is Lauren Bergenholtz and I the dedicated Northern California Manager of Business Development for Creative Coverings…or, more simply put…your Nor Cal “linen gal.” I am the girl behind the tabletop textiles from Redding, to Sacramento, the Bay Area, all the way down to Fresno (which I like to refer as, FresYES!) Coming from a background in event venue management and coordination, I am able to design with some real-time experience and on-trend inspiration. I like to call this becoming “one with your client.” What better way to understand client needs than to have been one before? I currently reside in Midtown and fuel myself with cat cuddles, Taco Bell, red wine, and binge watching Grey’s Anatomy. I look forward to designing our way through the upcoming wedding season!

What products do you offer to rent?

Where do I even start? Creative Coverings offers unique, specialty fine linen rentals that will compliment any and all design concepts. We’ve got solids, sparkles, plush velvets, bold patterns…you name it, we’ve got it! On top of our tabletop rentals, we also offer chair covers..and my personal favorite pillows! Many people don’t know that we offer pillows in all different colors and bold patterns. These are the perfect accent to any event lounge to tie your look together.

Bet you didn’t know that Creative Coverings is the ONLY certified Green linen rental company out there? We pride ourselves on being eco-friendly with our manufacturing and laundering practices as well as little to no excess paper waste with our admin and sales team.

Why should clients rent vs buy?

Always rent! Not only is renting and reusing items better for the environment, but it also keeps your house decluttered. You do not want a stockpile after your wedding because there is no guarantee it will re-sell. Trust me, trends will fade and you don’t want to be stuck with an item that un-trended. Also…let’s be real, do you really want to launder and press 25 linens after your big wedding? Probably not.

Any Tips and Tricks for creating the perfect wedding day?

Pick a theme and color palette…then stick to your guns. Don’t let family or bridal party try to sway you. This is your day, not theirs. Afraid of hurting their feelings if you don’t go with their idea of how your day should look? Thank them for their suggestions and then do you!
