Robin & Dain chose to have a Downtown Sacramento Engagement Session. They wanted to hit some landmark spots like: the Sacramento Capitol Building, Old Sacramento, and the Tower Bridge. We almost cancelled this engagement session due to the weather, however, thank goodness we didn’t! It was overcast most of the day and our weather station all warned of thunder storms. However, Robin & Dain were excited about the session and didn’t want to cancel, so we didn’t. THEN, right around sunset, thunder continually struck! We tried and tried, and managed to capture some in the back. Check it out!

Robin and Dain are high school sweethearts who met weeks before Elk Grove’s Senior Ball. This event would be the foundation their romance was built on. Hours would slip away on the phone, on school nights, and sometimes would abruptly come to an end when one of the parents would remind them that it was 2 in the morning and talking time was over. The phone calls would soon follow with various dates, bowling, movies, and miniature golf and eventually led to the proposal of going to Senior ball together. The ball was a blast, and chemistry was instantaneous. The subsequent months would blossom into a close relationship. The summer of 2005 slipped by so quickly, as the two were headed off to separate colleges. Robin was heading to Cottey College in Missouri, Dain to Chico State. Through the long distance relationship, most would slip away or walk away from the difficulty of being away from one another for so long, but that would not deter them, in fact it would only make their bond stronger. Being able to withstand months without seeing one another the love only grew stronger for one another. Thankfully Robin would return from Missouri a year later, and began attending Sacramento State. The flight to see one another turned into a drive, and the little things made all the difference. Robin and Dain have been through many life experiences; college graduations, job acceptances, countless trips, two out of state to Maui, and thousands of various events they spent together as a couple. Being able to experience life with your soulmate is a treasure. Robin and Dain were able to do so through the moment of Senior Ball, everything in between, all the way to their first house purchase, their engagement and welcoming a puppy into their lives. This long and seasoned love would only grow stronger as life is experienced with one another, with obstacles, surprises, and amazing times. Their wedding is just another event in their life path, these two soulmates can experience with one another over. Day 1 of the official title of Mr. and Mrs. Callori will come, but with it they will be bringing 10 years of love and being together.
