May is such a great month to be married. When Marisa & Ivan told us they were to be married in St. Basil’s Catholic Church in Vallejo and holding their reception at Eagle Vines Vineyards, we were beyond excited. We had the pleasure of photographing Ivan’s cousins wedding in Tahoe a few years back, and this family was SO MUCH FUN! We knew Marisa & Ivan’s wedding was going to be out of control… we were not disappointed. We started the day at the The Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa for their prep. Marisa looked amazing in her gown. Her bridal party was so much fun and all about the bride! We all then piled into cars and headed to St. Basil’s Catholic Church. Marisa drove over with her father in his classic Corvette. After the two were married we all headed back to Napa to Eagle Vines and Vineyards for their ‘Under the Sea’ reception. They decorated the center pieces with fish filled, flower bowls, shells, and treasures. It was done SO great. We lucked out and got a killer sunset session – HUGE clouds in the sky.
