10/10/2020 was by far the most requested date in wedding history and we were absolutely honored to photograph Tessa and Justin for their intimate wedding ceremony at Scribner Bend Vineyards. Their original wedding plans had been more than two years in the making, so when 2020’s you-know-what, they worked directly with Jessica Dressel at Scribner Bend to host a beautiful intimate wedding at Scribner Bend Winery.

First, they had to do one of the most difficult parts of pandemic wedding planning and uninvite many of their originally invited guests. Scalling down their wedding to 25 of their closest friends and family and moving their mini reception off site to 555 Capital Mall.

Tessa and Justin’s wedding day started in the bungalow where Tessa got ready with her best friend, sister, and mother. She wore a stunning floor length gown with intricate back detailing. For her own personal touch, she wore white wedding Keds and Bride socks!

One of our favorite moments between a bride and her girls, is the champagne toast, made even better by Scribner Bend’s almond sparkling wine. Each member of Tessa’s bridal party sent well wishes on her new journey.

Justin and his groomsmen got ready on the porch. Justin opted for a tailored grey suit and coral tie(to match the bridesmaids) while his groomsmen wore dark navy suits for the perfect amount of contrast!

In order to have a few special moments to themselves before their final “I Do”, this Scribner Bend couple decided to do a first look. Set up on the porch of Scribner Bend’s bungalow, Tessa appeared behind Justin and tapped him on the should. How adorable is his reaction to his beautiful bride?!

Like their original plans, Tessa and Justin held their intimate wedding at Scribner Bend in the vineyard. Performed by one of our favorite Sacramento Officiant, Jerry Murphy, their ceremony was filled with personal touches and joyful tears.

Instead of a large wedding reception, the couple said a few toasts with their friends and family, before heading over for a wedding after party at the Roof Top Lounge at 555 Capital Mall

No one does sunsets like Scribner Bend! We had the opportunity to photography wedding romance pictures for the couple in the vineyards.

For their small wedding after party, the crew enjoyed freshly made appetizers and an evening of dancing!
