When we were contacted by this loving couple last year to shoot their wedding we had no idea what was in stored for us when we arrived at their wedding venue. Samantha and Andrew created a stunning mix of details and style at this private estate in Clements California. A blend of rustic with a hint of new graced every inch of their friends estate turned wedding venue. I remember when we shot their engagement session in hills of Placerville, and they both headed to their car and grabbed pillow cases and began picking pinecones. My wife and I joined in the fun and low and behold we had over 100 pine cones for their wedding. Samantha’s was all smiles as she could not wait to marry the man of her dreams. Andrew was having a man moment on the other side of the estate with the guys. Everyone was ready to see them tie the knot and say their IDO’s. Before the ceremony the couple decided they wanted to share letters to express their love before the ceremony. We blind folded Andrew and guided towards this amazing RedWood tree near the reception area. Once in place we walked Samantha over to meet Andrew near the Red Wood. This was not a first look , but an exchange of love letters. The couple giggled and smile as each one read what the other wrote. Once the reading was complete they both headed to their previous locations and waited for the ceremony to begin. When Samantha walked down the isle Andrews face lit up as he saw his future bride walking towards him. Once the ceremony was over the couple was engulfed in a large hug session. It’s a blessing to see couples like this share their vision with others
