This beautiful couple chose the San Francisco Presidio and Crissy Field as their engagement shoot locations. Emily & Jack are such a spunky, funny and silly couple; they so much fun to shoot! It quickly became apparent that they are quite the troopersas well; they had to fight the cold and the wind the entire shoot. But, when looking at the pictures, one would never know. Luckily, the beautiful assortment of flowers that surround the Presidio were in bloom! We took advantage of the diversity of flowers as well as all the detailed arctitecture. We hit ever pillar and stone structure before we made our way across the way to Crissy Field.
For the Crissy Field portion of the shoot, Emily & Jack changed from their fancy outfits to their more casual, warms fits. Kris and I had some great ideas for depth-shots using the Bay Bridge. Basically, we sat them on a ridge along side the breaking-bay waves while drinking some hot chocolate (from the Crissy Field Cafe), and angled ourselves to capture the Bay Bridge. Once the cold become too overpowering we took one last silloette shot and then called it quits.
We can’t wait to see this couple again in July for the wedding at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg, CA. I’m sure their wedding is going to be just as fun as their engagement session… If not More!!
