This Scribner Bend wedding is special to Dee and Kris, Jessica is the head coordinator at Scribner Bend so we have know her for years. When she asked us to photographer her wedding we were thrilled! Check out Jessica and Ben’s sweet love story…

Ben and I met in high school on the football field and were set up on a blind date to the movies by two of our friends. Our first date was not the pure bliss you see in movies but instead was a complete flop! I had no intentions of continuing to see him but my friends told me to give him a second chance which I am so happy I did!

After high school, Ben went off to Chico State to run track and I was looking at Southern California for colleges, little did I know I too would fall in love with Chico State and end up going there the following year.

We lived together all 5 years that Ben went to Chico State and grew our family 1 fluff at a time. Our first pet was a Chinchilla named Buster, followed by our pride and joy Millie then to our very grumpy/loving Kitty and our newest addition [found at SBV following a Wedding I was working] Luna our sweet cat.

From college to growing our family of fur babies we have landed in Sacramento where we were married and plan to spend many years to come. What started as a simple crush in high school has now stemmed into a life long love with my best friend. 🙂
