Heyyyy! I’m Shana. I’ve been a professional makeup artist for over 26 years. I’m proud to say I was the first artist in Sacramento, to have a pro makeup studio. I’ve been in the industry before any social media existed. Most people had never heard of a makeup artist before I started. My art is my passion! I did not choose to be a makeup artist, it definitely chose me. It never gets old making someone feel beautiful!

What advise do you have for bride’s looking for a makeup artist?

Please do your research. Anyone can create an Instagram page. It absolutely does not make someone a professional artist. Read reviews, experience, length in business, Website etc. Remember good artist books as far in advance as a venue. Typically 6-12 months in advance.
