Meeks Bay Resort |Tahoma, CA

Meeks Bay Resort is one of the most spectacular Lake Tahoe wedding venues, but within the resort lies the incredible Kehlet Mansion. The mansion sits at the furthest point north of the lake and has plenty of space for lots of guests and private beach access for the entire weekend. This venue is perfect for couples who want a full DIY from start to finish. With the help of your wedding coordinator, this venue is ready to be turned into your dream wedding!

When you rent out the mansion for your wedding weekend, you’ll have access to sleeping arrangements for up to 12 guests, a fully equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace, and basic amenities.

The Kehlet Mansion is a great location for any weather, even rain! In 2018, our couple Megan and Jon were set to be married when a storm rolled in. That didn’t stop the party though! The property has plenty of space for a large event tent to move the ceremony and reception until cover. Plus, Lake Tahoe wedding pictures in the rain are a rare occurrence that gives couples a unique look for their wedding pictures!

Mitchells Mountain Meadows | Truckee, CA

Another fully customizable wedding venue is Mitchells Mountain Meadows. For one flat rate, you’ll have access to 80 acres of the most charming property you’ve ever seen.

This venue does not provide any on-site accommodations, which is perfect for the couples who don’t want any restrictions on planning. Unlike most inclusive venues, you’ll be able to work with your coordinator to rent the exact style of furniture and decor you want, which catering team you want, and even provide your own alcohol.

Sugar Pine Point State Park | Tahoma, CA

Nestled among the trees in Sugar Pine Point State Park sit the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion. Like many of our other favorite Lake Tahoe wedding venues, the mansion offers private beach access that makes saying your vows on the lake edge, a breeze. The mansion is not available for renting, but the lawn and lakeside areas are all you need to host a beautiful outdoor wedding.

The mansion’s lawn area have plenty of space for a large reception and tons of room for dancing! We love the way Haley and Kevin decorated the outdoor wedding venue with twinkle lights that glowed all night long.

Edgewood Lake Tahoe | Stateline, NV

Edgewood Lake Tahoe is a luxury wedding venue just across the California – Nevada state line. They offer spa services, golf packages, dining, and activities, which makes this a wonderful destination for couples who have lots of guests traveling out of town. Their guests can make an entire weekend out of their trip!

This luxury venue offers spectacular views and six spaces to plan your ceremony and reception. Our couple, Heidi and Spencer chose to get married in the South Room underneath the buildings unique triangular architecture. Their reception, following the ceremony, was held in the North Room. Edgewood Lake Tahoe also has an on-site catering team who will help you create the perfect menu for your big day!

Other locations this Lake Tahoe wedding venue offers for you ceremony include the North Lawn with crystal blue waters as your backdrop and the 17th green with lush greens and mountain top views.

West Shore Cafe | Homewood, CA

The West Shore Cafe, is located on the west edge of Lake Tahoe. It is known for its pier access which offers a unique setting for wedding receptions. Similar to other Lake Tahoe wedding venues, The West Shore Cafe offers on-site lodging and activities for traveling guests.

The cafe offers five different locations to say your “I dos” and each one as picturesque as the next! Choose between the mountain top ceremony site, the deck and pier, the lake front lawn, or their indoor dining room. Our couple, Katie and Erik, chose to say their nuptials on the lakeside beach followed by a reception on the pier.

Tahoe Mountain Club | Truckee, CA

At an elevation of 5926′, Tahoe Mountain Club offers views that just can’t be matched. They have four different venue spaces for your perfect wedding day, including sweeping views of Mt. Rose.

This Lake Tahoe wedding venue has on-site catering, Pj’s at Gray’s Crossing, with a wide variety of options for a wonderful wedding menu. Plus, they have a full bar menu for your guests to choose from! Monica and Ian said “I do” overlooking the lush greenery of the fairway.

The Lodge at Tahoe Donner | Truckee, CA

The Lodge at Tahoe Donner is a picturesque location near Donner Lake. If you’re looking for an outdoor wedding venue that is surrounded by emerald green fairways, evergreen trees, and mountainous views, this is the perfect venue for you!

With indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception spaces, The Lodge is actually a great venue for any time of year. They also make it super easy to plan your dream wedding, by providing reception necessities, staff, ceremony chairs, access to the Lodge Pub, and space for dancing! This allows for flexibility when choosing a coordinator, decor, and any additional vendors you want to bring in.
