There are a bunch of reasons to do an engagement session. For us, we love engagement sessions so we can help you capture photos of who you are every day! After your engagement session, you’ll be invited for a personalized design consultation to create beautiful artwork for your home! Head over to our products page for more information!
Our studio is in the Downtown/Midtown area so it’s only natural we start here!
Downtown Sacramento is a classic for engagement pictures. There are a lot of options to fit every single couple’s style! With so many unique locations so close to each other you’ll have time for two different locations during your engagement session! We’ll choose a great spot to meet up and then we wander around downtown capturing your love story!
In order to get two different vibes for your session, we often suggest starting at a park! You’ll be surrounded by greenery and flowers. We love the idea of having a little picnic, (obviously with some champagne), before heading down to the river at sunset.
Tower bridge engagement pictures are perfect for Sacramento locals who want the Sacramento icon to be a part of their story. At sunset that’s a view, you just can’t get anywhere else!
Want more of the historical architecture feel for your engagement pictures? Let’s head to Old Town Sac! A very popular place for pictures, but this little treasure holds tons of variety and we’ll help you find unique spots that suit you as a couple!
The Capital Rose Garden is another a perfect spot for a picnic and spring engagement pictures in Sacramento! The cherry blossom trees bloom in early April.
Another option to choose after the Rose Garden is the capital building! Not only does this building represent all of California, but we can capture you and your love in a variety of areas!
If the water is what you’re after, let’s go straight to the river!
One of our favorite locations for Engagement photos in Sacramento is the UC Davis Arboretum. This is a beautiful spot for couples who want an outdoor garden feel with tons of variety and suitable for any season. Throughout the Arboretum, you’ll find incredible redwood trees, a lakeside view, a unique arching bridge, and colors that meet any photographer’s dreams! If you’re looking for an Engagement photo location within a garden, let’s head to the UC Davis Arboretum!
Apple Hill engagement pictures are perfect for a fall session, but what about a winter session amongst the Christmas trees? We are in love with High Hill Ranch where you’ll have the opportunity to use the winery and the Christmas trees as a beautiful engagement session location!
Downtown Folsom is the perfect spot for couples who want a little piece of history as the backdrop of their story but don’t want the hussle and bussle of Downtown Sacramento. With unique architecture and access to the American river, you’ll have lots of options within walking distance for beautiful engagement pictures!
If you’re looking for a combination of a desert feel with the opportunity to be near the river we have the best spot for you at Folsom Lake! Folsom Lake offers a variety of landscapes from sandy beaches, rock formations, and the water (depending on the year). Plus, with this wide-open landscape, you’re just begging for an epic sunset!
As Roseville locals, Dee and Kris love photographing at the Roseville Greenbelt! The landscape is beautiful any time of year and with such a large park area they find new spots to photograph every time!
