When it came to wedding planning, Esther and Omar already knew they wanted a smaller wedding. They planned a beautiful garden ceremony right in the backyard of a South Lake Tahoe home. The small intimate backyard wedding ceremony included less than 15 guests in person and the rest of their friends on video call! Keep scrolling for a small taste of their Lake Tahoe backyard wedding!
Esther got ready off site and showed up for her special day in style! Her sister did her incredible makeup that kept Esther looking her best all day long! Omar got ready in the house wearing a navy blue suit and a fun yellow tie!
Esther’s mom help add the final touches to her wedding day which included a peal blusher veil that covered the bride’s face.
At their wedding ceremony, Esther was escorted down the aisle by both her parents. Esther is a doctor so she took safety precautions very seriously! All of their in person guests were seated 6 feet a part down the aisle.
After their final “I Dos” the couple went right into their first dance so all their guests could enjoy the moment without leaving their seats! We love this option when a couple decides not to do a full wedding reception.
They also had the opportunity to chat with their guests who watched online via video chat! While they wanted a small wedding, it was still important for them to be able to connect with those who could not attend.
While they didn’t host a formal wedding reception, Esther and Omar still wanted to keep with the wedding tradition of cutting the cake! They had a simple wedding cake make with a custom cake topper just for the two of them.
Then, after saying goodbye to their guests, the couple headed up to the top of the overlook in South Lake Tahoe for some beautiful sunset images! We had the opportunity to photograph at the overlook and the dock before the sun went down.
