One of the things we love about Vizcaya Sacramento, is their dedication to their couples and making a wedding day incredibly special for each and every person who walks through their doors. This dedication was a light during the 2020 pandemic which led to our couple, Samantha and Ian, drastically changing their wedding day plans. Thanks to the wedding coordination team at Vizcaya, and their new ceremony only package for 2020 couples, our lovely bride and groom was able to move forward with their original wedding date. With some major downsizing and safety protocols, Samantha and Ian planned a Vizcaya minimony that they will never forget!

For those of you who haven’t rescheduled or replanned a pandemic wedding, you might ask, what is a minimony? Simply put, it’s a smaller scale wedding ceremony. With only very close friends and family, no formal dinner and dancing, and social distancing to keep everyone safe. We are happy to be able to safely be a part of Samantha and Ian’s wedding day and can’t wait until their vow renewal next year when we can really party!

Our lovely bride opted for cute and comfortable shoes for her minimony so she chose this sparkly pair of Keds X Kate Spade New York which perfectly complimented her look!

How beautiful is Samantha’s perfectly twirly dress from David’s Bridal? She had so much fun spinning and it showing off! So gorgeous!

After their Vizcaya minimony, they still wanted to incorporate some wedding traditions. So, they had their first dance in the court yard followed by their cake cutting. Their perfectly size cake for two was created by the incredible bakers at Freeport Bakery.
