Folsom Lake Maternity Session

Folsom Lake Maternity and Family Session with Pam and JD.

2020/2021 was an eventful time for Pam and JD filled with lots of joy! The couple got married before all the shutdowns happened. Soon, they were excited to announce they were adding a baby brother to their new family! We were so fortunate to capture the love at this session with Folsom Lake as the backdrop to this breathtaking couple.

Currently, California is experiencing a draught, which lent itself to this fantastic golden landscape and vast area to photograph this gorgeous couple. Pam wore a flowy shawl-shouldered pink dress and henna tattoo that complimented her tanned skin and radiant smile beautifully. JD complimented her outfit with a pink and blue plaid shirt.

After a quick wardrobe change, we took a walk down to the water with Pam and JD and took advantage of the backdrop to compliment the couple, now dressed in black; Pam in black lace and JD in a black dress shirt and jeans. The wind played with their hair and created natural and effortless movement and interaction between the two of them.

After their Folsom Lake Maternity Session, when their new addition to the family arrived with much anticipation, we once again were honored to photograph them along with baby’s big sisters, grandma and their beloved family dog.
