A little about Davey:
I have been doing videography and photography since 2014. My journey began with a GoPro and a wild desire to capture everything my town had. After a few months of learning the basics, I was asked to do a wedding. That day I realized a GoPro just wasn’t going to cut it. I dove head first into the world of creativity and have enjoyed every phase of this life. I researched, studied, and practiced filming. The desire to perfect my art consumed me. Today, I have the equipment I never dreamed possible and I travel the world capturing the most special moments that life offers. I believe that true art can tell a story and I am passionate about showing each story in the most beautiful way.
Who is your ideal client?
My ideal clients are authentic. I love a couple that is deeply genuine. I believe that life is an adventure and being around people that enjoy that adventure makes it all the more fun.
One thing everyone needs to know about you that sets you apart from other videographers:
I think what sets me apart is my mind for storytelling. I truly believe God gave me a gift in seeing people and events through the eyes of a visual storyteller.
What tips do you have for couples hiring a videographer?
The first thing I recommend is truly studying their films. Once you get an idea of the style you like then the best advice is to meet with your videographer. I love getting to hear how the couple met and really just finding a connection between us. It helps to capture their true personalities.
