Downtown Sacramento is a classic for engagement pictures, there are so many locations to choose from it needed its own blog post! All of our recommended Sacramento engagement locations are super close together so we can pick two different locations to get the perfect collection of images!

The Crocker Art Museum

For couples looking for a moody and sultry session, we recommend looking into the Crocker Art Museum! Surrounded by historical art collections and 19th-century architecture, there are so many angles for a unique engagement session. The museum is a private property, so keep in mind there is a small facility use fee.

The Tower Bridge

Tower bridge engagement pictures are perfect for Sacramento locals who want the Sacramento icon to be a part of their story. This is the most popular spot and almost all Sacramento Engagements end the night here! The sunset is incredible from every angle and we never get tired of photographing it.

The Delta King on the River

Another fun spot to check out along the river is the river walk that goes down to the Delta King. The reflection on the water at sunset is always really beautiful and the Delta King Hotel adds for a unique backdrop. Plus, you can see the tower bridge from below!

Midtown Mural Walk

If you are looking for an urban engagement session location, let’s talk about Midtown! The murals are a fun and unique location for our couples who are looking for a lively and colorful session. There are so many murals in Midtown and Downtown that makes each session unique!

Continuing with our urban engagement locations in Sacramento, we also suggest the Ice Blocks! The art district is perfect for couples who want a session that screams the “downtown life.”

Land Park

In order to get two different vibes for your session, we often suggest starting at a park! You’ll be surrounded by greenery and flowers. We love the idea of having a little picnic, (obviously with some champagne), before heading down to the river at sunset. Land Park is a great location for couples who want that park feel!
