We are so thrilled to have been apart of Rachael and Dave’s amazing Green River Brewing Wedding! So much fun and laughter was had by all, and we love these two immensely!

Here is their love story…

“We met at UC Davis, we were both transfer students in undergrad Physics the same year. We soon were part of the same study group and quickly became close.  Dave would often work late and come later to the study group and I always ended up being the one to go over the problems we were working on with him :).  I think we both just felt a connection instantly and it didn’t take more than a couple of quarters before we started dating. Dave proposed at a Sac Kings game!  He somehow got us courtside during their warm-ups, and they told us not to talk to or ask the players for autographs. Dave stood up and put his jacket on the ground to which I responded to annoyed and picked it up, only to realize he was getting down on one knee!! It absolutely surprised me, which he teases me about because I’ve hinted heavily that I would totally be okay to be proposed to on a sports game jumbotron. It was so perfect.
We had visited our venue prior to being engaged and I had already wondered if they did weddings, so once we were engaged it was an easy choice!  Luckily, many of our vendors came with the venue, with the exception of Kris and Dee! We have participated in many of our friend’s weddings over the years and of all, we loved photos from Jack and Emily Ramey’s wedding-which Kris and Dee did!  Once we met for a consultation it was an easy choice, their organization and creativity won us over. Gosh, everything about the day felt so absolutely perfect, we feel lucky it all went so well!  We obviously have vendors, family, and friends to thank for that!  One of my favorite parts was our dance together.  My dress caught me off guard, I forgot how many layers it was!  But to do a dance that felt like us and make us both smile made me so happy. Also, just having both families and our friends all together celebrating and dancing and smiling felt amazing. “
