These two are simply beautiful and decided to have their wedding at their GORGEOUS home. “Long before they ever met, Preston and Lara decided to follow their careers to the far away land of Tokyo, Japan! Not knowing what or who they would find, they only knew that they had an adventure ahead of them. Thanks to the unique world of online dating, these two people, born on opposite ends of the world, would allow destiny to finally take its course. Two foreigners in a foreign land, went out to get dinner and “maybe” drinks, if it went well… on June 11th, 2017.

Immediately these two lives were impacted forever as conversation rolled throughout the nights, the days, the weeks and the months. The adventures were daily and the memories were instant classics as Preston and Lara fell in love in the streets of Tokyo. After vacations and travel all over the world, following work, visiting friends and family, long distance and phone calls, long bus rides, same day book and fly flights, Lara finally decided to move to California! Setting up a new life and a new home together, Preston knew it was the perfect time to make it official!

After a long flight to the other side of the world in Cape Town, South Africa, Lara finally returned home after 2 years. Seeing family was the priority for Lara, but for Preston, he had a surprise in mind that would change both of their lives forever! On October 29th, 2018 at the beautiful Grand Roche Hotel in Paarl, South Africa, Preston took a knee to ask for her love forever! She said “of course!” with no hesitation and they were able to celebrate the special moment together!”
