These two said “I DO” and ran for safety from the Klamathon Fire in Hornbrook on July 7th, 2018. Thank you to: Calfire Updates CAL FIRE CAL FIRE Siskiyou Unit CHP – Yreka – Yreka a strike team manned the property as the fire jumped the river and they saved the home and all the rentals and vendors property. These men and women do God’s work! They put themselves into the line of danger so that life can continue as we know it. Having to run for your life as ashes fall around you in an uncontrolled wildfire as the winds pick up, will change your thinking regarding the sacrifices they all make on a daily basis. Sisters Eventz– Amy and Megan - These two women worked so hard to put everything together for the wedding only to move it and recreate everything in under 20 mins at the Yreka Holiday Inn! They were heroes!
Chef Joe Symmes– WOW!! He worked SO HARD to feed 160 guests after having to abandon the food at the venue. It was INCREDIBLE!!!
Lola Beauty – Lola Beauty from Austin, Tx Hair and makeup! They did a lovely job with the ladies. Their hair and makeup with stood wind and fire!
Penny and Lulu Studio FloristPenny and Lulu Studio Florist – Penny and Lulu For the incredible florals that were grabbed on the run! Ellie loved her white sunflowers
Netsoundpro – Jon the DJ! – He grabbed all his stuff after they said I DO and RAN!! He was amazing. Even played music as the fire ran down the hill so Ellie could walk down to her song.
