Santa Cruz, CA is about a 3 hour drive from home. To drive there, shoot, hangout with the couple (of course), and then drive back was an all day adventure… that was totally worth it! This Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Engagement Session was incredibly memorable! The reason that Samantha & Eddie picked this city as their engagement session location was because this is where Eddie actually proposed! Specifically, he proposed at a lighthouse right down the beach, just a short, fun, gorgeous walk South of the boardwalk. We thought that the lighthouse would be ideal to shoot at sunset with a romantic setting, so we hit that last.

Since the the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk offers a ton of fun activities, we tackled that first. Sam & Eddie were pretty much down for anything, awesome! We had them enjoy mini golf, play in the arcade, and cuddle up on the beach. Such a diverse location with endless options for amazing shots.

Funny story – almost all of the bulbs were out in the Fun Center sign. Soooo we photoshopped them to be on. We don’t do this often, but when we do, wow does it make a difference.
