When Marc and Cassandra heard the devastating news that their April 18th wedding was not going to happen due to the coronavirus, they had to quickly make other arrangements. The love that these two share helped them over come one of the most difficult situations they had ever feared. They quickly decided they would postpone their date and cut their guest list to only family in order to follow government restrictions. With the help of the incredible team at Scribner Bend, they were able to create a magical day. While different from what they originally envisioned, there was so much love in the air that made their day very special.
Keep scrolling to see how Marc and Cassandra turned their big wedding into a beautiful mirco-wedding that even the coronavirus couldn’t ruin!
**This micro-wedding was held before wineries were forced to shut down and therefore followed all government regulations at the time. For more infomation on how to host a safe micro-wedding during the corona virus, visit our blog.
In order to maintain distance indoors, Cassandra got ready with only her mother. It was such a special mother daughter moment that she is sure to remember for the rest of her life. Plus, how incredible is her veil??
Cassandra said “YES!” to her beautiful gown at Miosa Bride. After getting ready, Cassandra make her grand reveal with a first look with her bridesmaids.
Another special moment Cassandra incorporated in her day was the first look with her father, complete with a shot of fireball! Taking the time for a first look with your dad allows you dad to have a moment all to himself, that he will definitely cherish!
The guys celebrated before the ceremony outside toasted with unique craft beer for each of Marc’s groomsmen.
Their micro-wedding ceremony, consisted of only family and closest friends of the bride and groom in person but the rest of their guests were able to attend via ZOOM! We absolutely love how this couple adapted to the government restrictions and decided to hold their ceremony virtually.
Their mini-reception at Scribner Bend allowed them a moment to do the traditional cake cutting and a toast as husband and wife.
