Taber Ranch Vineyard is nestled in the hills of the Capay Valley. Jamela and Genesis felt the sprawling 500-acre ranch was perfect to say, “I do”. This cool renovated vintage bus is the bride’s dressing room. When Jamela’s mother sees her daughter in her wedding dress she can’t help the tears.
Genesis and his groomsmen wore a Barong for his day; a traditional Filipino wedding suit.
Jamela was very excited at how their invitations turned out. They chose a eucalyptus green and a soft pink for their colors. Eucalyptus was prominent this day in all their floral arrangements.
The couple chose to do a First Look session before the ceremony. The bridesmaids looked on behind the scenes while the couple shared a moment.
The sun was shining brightly this day, but not as bright as Genesis smile as he watched Jamela come down the aisle.
Genesis asks for the blessing of the father-of-the-bride in Filipino tradition; by placing the back of Jamela’s father’s hand to his forehead. Her father gives the couple his blessing.
The sand ceremony signifies their two lives becoming one; only when they can separate the individual grains of sand can their lives be separated too.
