Beautiful Vizcaya Mansion and Carriage House Venue

Dee and Kris first photographed Samantha and Ian at their elopement at Vizcaya in Sacramento, CA. This was right in the middle of California’s Covid-19 shutdown, but as the virus spread rapidly across the globe these two nurses understood the reason for it. They gathered together with just their “bubble” to get married. One year later, they gathered their family and friends (a few more this time) at the same beautiful and elegant midtown mansion for their vow renewal.

The lovely ladies of Katrione’s Blooms provided the flowers for Samantha and Ian’s elopement at Vizcaya. For their vow renewal they very sweetly added in this boutonniere for Ian and this gorgeous corsage for Samantha as a wedding gift.

First Looks

Ian adorably sneaks up on his bride for a peek. After a giggle and a kiss, this adorable couple are ready to renew their vows in front of friends and family.

The cute couple wanted personal touches to represent their love. Using their Cricut, they created this welcome sign and their invitations.

While it was a fully vaccinated event, to be sure everyone was also tested for Covid-19. Masks were also welcome.

Sam and Ian renewed the same vows they said to each other one year earlier. Their friends and family listened and laughed, sharing in their joy with them.

Freeport Bakery did a wonderful job with this cake that centered on the wedding’s travel theme.

The party kicked in when Joe with SJ’s Disk Jockey started playing!
