Let’s Fall in Love

The Maples Event Center is located in Woodland, CA just outside of Sacramento. The 55-acre luxury wedding venue hosts four distinct and uniquely beautiful ceremony locations.

Rachelle and Chris’s wedding was decked out in beautiful tones of burgundy, rose gold, and cream. To make their day special in every way every detail was thought of. This included Rachelle’s sweet elephant ring holder.

Rachelle’s dress was a beautiful light blush color that she found at Bride To Be Couture.

The bride and groom exchanged gifts with each other and Rachelle took a moment to write her feelings in a card to her new husband.

Rachelle got a little help from her friends (and family) in the Bridal Suite.

The Officiant is Officially In

This is Dave. His nickname is “Sexy Dave”. That’s pretty much all you need to know about Dave. We love Dave!

The Groom’s Den

While Rachelle got ready in The Bridal Suite, Chris got ready in The Grooms Den; the two fully appointed dressing rooms on The Maples grounds.

First Looks and Wedding Vows

Rachelle’s First Look session was in front of beautiful green doors of The Stables. Her First Look session with her father was emotional and so sweet.

Rachelle and Chris’s First Look Session was even more emotional because they chose to read their vows. A lot of couples are now choosing to read their vows together before the ceremony for a more intimate moment together.

Wedding formals were only formal in name with this group as they had fun with it.

It’s All In The Details

Every detail elegantly laid out by Beyond Smitten Events was perfect. The deep, rich burgundy place settings on the rose gold chargers gave a feeling of opulence and elegance. Against the backdrop of the cream colored table runners, the red tones looked even more intense and vibrant.

Rachelle made this fabulous crochet drape for the archway; it was simply breathtaking and made for a unique and elegant backdrop as they said “I do”.

Finally Here

They planned and prepared for this day and, above all, they dreamed about it and it was finally here. Chris watched Rachelle walk down the aisle with her father and couldn’t help himself; the smile and the tears just came.

The beautiful canopy of trees on the grounds of The Maples Event Center provided much needed shade in the hot month of September; the biggest of which stood tall behind the couple.

Obviously, Rachelle and Chris know how to have fun. Chris wants a turn with the bouquet and knows how to work it.

With this beer bong, I thee wed. The couple started the party off from the word go. As they sat at their posh sweethearts table, the drinks started flowing and party got going.

Then, with the help of Steve Schon at Function45 Entertainment, the party gets hype! Everyone enjoyed the photo booth and danced the night away, showing off their moves as the DJ played on.
