Flourish – MEET SHANNON! The Flower Designer for Your Love Story

Shannon at Flourish is one of our all-time favorite florists, she creates designs for every couple based on your unique love story. Plus, she offers an extensive collection of decor to accompany her flowers on your big day!

A little about Shannon:

I started Flourish in 1998 with the belief that every wedding should be a unique reflection of the couple. Every couple has a story, and that story is beautiful. Using only locally grown and seasonally available flowers in Sacramento, CA, I can inspire, amaze, and tell a story. I have been designing in flowers for over 30 years and I still wake up every morning thrilled to I get to do what I love.

Who is your ideal client?

Our ideal clients appreciate the beauty and the skill takes to achieve that beauty. They trust us and are willing to work with us to accomplish their perfect wedding flowers.

What sets you apart from other florists?

There are so many talented floral designers in our area. But what sets Flourish apart is not our amazing flowers (we have those too) but our commitment to exemplary service. We pride ourselves on our open communication and our ability to put our clients at ease. We are flexible and always willing to do extra for the special people that hire Flourish.

Do you have any advice for couples deciding on flowers?

Choosing to use seasonal flowers is not about saving money. Using seasonal flowers means you will get the biggest, freshest and most luscious blooms that were blooming at the time of your wedding. It will also give your designs a sense of place in the seasons. Carrying a bouquet of anemone, ranunculus and sweet peas mean you were married in the spring. While a bridal bouquet of dahlias, celosia, and colorful leaves will always be a fall bouquet.
