Going to the Courthouse and We’re Gonna Get Married

Before Marcharda and Katrina headed to Mix Downtown, they were married in a sweet civil ceremony at the County Courthouse in Sacramento, CA. The couple, dressed in white, looked fabulous as they said “I do” under the floral arch in the County Clerk’s office.

Their love story begins when Marcharda made the bold move to Sacramento without knowing anyone. Like many beautiful relationships, our own Dee and Kris‘s included, the couple met online. As they talked and got to know each other they became fast friends. Soon that friendship blossomed into much more.

Because of Covid-19, restrictions were still in place so the couple’s family and friends had to wait outside the courthouse while the couple said their vows. The couple greeted everyone with the biggest smiles as they emerged from the double doors! They beamed as they showed off their marriage certificate.

A Walk In the Park

With the sweet civil ceremony over, the couple and their family moved to Capitol Park to begin the celebration of love. They hugged and laughed (and posed for pictures).

At this time, the couple also had fun tossing their bouquets!

Undoubtedly, the cactus garden made the perfect setting for a unique romance session for our couple.

Mixin’ Up A Little Love

Mix Downtown gave our couple a more modern setting for the rest of their romance session. Its lush green plants lended beautifully to the already beautiful couple.

A Toast To Build a Dream On

The elegantly tufted leather seating and marble table framed the couple naturally and complimented their white wedding clothes. They looked at each other lovingly as they each raised their champagne flutes in a toast to their future.
